ActivArte

Degree's Investigation - UX/UI Design Project
Project Overview
We present ActivArte, an innovative mobile application that arises from our undergraduate thesis research on collective mapping as a form of graphic activism worldwide. Developed by Constanza Güena, Evelyn Gandolfo, and Abril Spósito, ActivArte aims to enable users to contribute information about graphic activism interventions to the city map. Our focus lies on the campaign for safe, legal, and free abortion in Argentina, incorporating key graphic elements into the application design.
My Contributions
I made significant contributions to this project as part of a collaborative team effort. Alongside my teammates, we conducted extensive research, analysis, and design work to bring this project to life. Our process involved conducting interviews, analyzing and synthesizing data, creating wireframes, developing prototypes, and conducting tests to refine the application. Finally, we presented our findings and project to our university professors as part of our bachelor's degree requirements. My dedication and contributions throughout this process have been instrumental in shaping the development and success of this project.
ActivArte's main objective is to document visual expressions and interventions carried out in the city, directly or indirectly related to the Campaign for Legal, Safe, and Free Abortion in Argentina.
Within the app, users find information about the campaign, including it's social media accounts and contacts, allowing them to learn more about the topic.
The app functions as a social network, integrating a wide variety of activists, as it serves as a platform to showcase their work and their journey. Additionally, users will have the opportunity to share their own experiences as graphic activists, creating a stronger bond between citizens and activists. This fosters a greater sense of connection and understanding, enhancing the relationship between individuals and the activism community.
